Compliance Officer (Compliance Assurance) (Hybrid, 80-100%) Are you passionate about risk management and compliance? We're looking for a motivated Compliance Officer to join our dynamic and global Assurance Team and help strengthen our compliance framework! As a Compliance Officer, you'll play a vital role in our second line of defense, helping to identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks across the organization.

Lead, design and execute compliance monitoring programmes and reviews Support the identification and analysis of compliance risks across the organization Identify and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of existing controls mitigating compliance risks Monitor and track the timely resolution of identified compliance issues Prepare reports on monitoring results and compliance findings for senior management Support investigations, ad-hoc risk reviews and special projects as needed Provide compliance monitoring results for internal and external reporting Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across different business units and group functions Compliance Assurance is a integral team responsible for providing assurance oversight of Code of Conduct, Global Compliance Frameworks and material local regulatory requirements across the Swiss Re Group on a risk‑based basis. The team serves as the primary liaison with Group Internal Audit (GIA), Operational Risk Management (ORM), and other governance functions,



facilitating coordination among risk and control functions and Compliance units in relation to Compliance Assurance activities.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (qualification in Law, Business or Finance is a plus) ~5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or audit in the financial services industry ~ Understanding of compliance principles, monitoring and/or audit methodologies, and risk and control frameworks ~ Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work independently on monitoring exercises and projects ~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Experience in the (re)insurance industry, with exposure to global compliance, risk, or assurance teams Knowledge of conduct risks and/or financial crime risks Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation and analysis), data analytics tools (Power BI and Stargate) and interest in applying AI-enabled tools to enhance compliance monitoring activities For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 58,000 and EUR 96,000 (for a full‑time role). In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance‑based annual bonus.
