You don’t need to be an art expert, just open‑minded, energetic, and ready to be part of something exciting. /p h3Deadline /h3 pPlease be aware that the deadline to submit your application is on the 20th of July. /p h3THIS IS YOU /h3 pAs a Duty Manager at Moco Museum Barcelona, you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating all floor activities, including assisting visitors and providing guidance, mentorship, and support to Junior Duty Managers and the Floor Crew. Your role is to maintain smooth daily operations, manage visitor flow and journey, and ensure a seamless, engaging museum experience from entry to exit. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Visitor Experience /h3 ul liEnsure a consistently high level of customer service and visitor satisfaction throughout the entire visitor journey. /li liMonitor, manage and optimise visitor flow and museum capacity. /li liResolve visitor concerns and operational issues quickly and professionally. /li liEnsure exhibition spaces and visitor areas meet Moco's presentation standards at all times. /li liSupport the achievement of visitor satisfaction and online review objectives. /li /ul h3Team Leadership /h3 ul liLead, coach and support the Museum Host team during every shift. /li liDeliver daily operational briefings and assign responsibilities. /li liFoster a positive, respectful and collaborative working environment. /li liSupport onboarding and training of new team members. /li liMonitor performance, provide constructive feedback and uphold operational standards. /li /ul h3Operations Compliance /h3 ul liCoordinate daily museum operations, including opening and closing procedures. /li liEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal emergency procedures.



/li liAct as the first point of escalation for operational incidents and emergencies. /li liMonitor cleanliness, maintenance and facility standards throughout the museum. /li liSupport the operational delivery of private events when required. /li /ul h3Planning Administration /h3 ul liComplete operational reports and shift handovers accurately. /li liMaintain operational procedures, manuals and internal documentation. /li liCoordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and execution. /li liReport maintenance issues, operational risks and visitor feedback. /li liContribute to continuous improvements in operational efficiency. /li /ul h3Commercial Support /h3 ul liSupport retail performance and museum commercial initiatives. /li liCollaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams on promotions, partnerships and visitor offers. /li liIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and the visitor experience. /li liContribute to the successful execution of events and commercial activities. /li liActively support the achievement of museum-wide business objectives. /li /ul h3Lead‑by‑Example /h3 pAs a Duty Manager, you are expected to: /p ul liLead by example in every interaction. /li liTake ownership of challenges and resolve them proactively. /li liMake confident, informed decisions in a fast‑paced environment. /li liBe present on the museum floor, supporting both visitors and your team. /li liCommunicate openly, respectfully and professionally. /li liBuild trust through consistency, fairness and integrity. /li liCoach and develop colleagues through regular feedback. /li liContinuously look for opportunities to improve operations and the visitor experience. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liAt least 3–5 years of experience in a comparable people‑management role, ideally within hospitality, tourism, retail, leisure or a cultural attraction. /li liProven experience leading teams and coordinating daily operations. /li liStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop others. /li liExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.



/li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to problem‑solving. /li liA proactive mindset and the confidence to make decisions under pressure. /li liFluency in Spanish and English is required.
