The Conversion Rate Optimization Manager is responsible for improving the performance of digital experiences across the entire funnel. This role combines analytical thinking, experimentation, user behavior insights, and cross functional collaboration to increase conversions and revenue. The person in this position will own the testing roadmap, lead experimentation initiatives, and identify opportunities to remove friction and improve user journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage the CRO strategy across websites, landing pages, and digital products.
Build and maintain a structured experimentation program that includes A/B tests, multivariate tests, user research, and iterative optimization.
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to uncover conversion bottlenecks and user experience issues.
Translate insights into clear hypotheses and actionable test plans.
Partner with product, design, engineering, and marketing teams to implement experiments and long term improvements.
Define and track key metrics tied to funnel performance, experiment impact, and user behavior patterns.
Ensure statistical rigor in experiment design, execution, and analysis.
Produce reports that communicate findings, learnings, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Monitor industry trends, tools, and best practices related to CRO and user experience optimization.
Requirements
Proven experience in CRO, growth, product analytics, or related fields.
Strong understanding of experimentation frameworks, statistical principles, and UX best practices.
Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
Experience with A/B testing platforms such as Optimizely, VWO, or similar.
Ability to interpret complex data and convert insights into clear recommendations.
Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
Technical familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development concepts is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in fast paced digital environments.
Background in product management, marketing, or user research.
Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages.
