Experteer Overview As Data Centre Electrical Design Manager you will lead the electrical design for mission-critical data centers across Spain and Italy, reporting to the EMEA Director of Engineering. You will guide the design, development, and implementation of innovative, scalable DC solutions and mentor a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes. You’ll balance technical leadership with client-facing collaboration, driving value engineering and adoption of new technologies. This role sits at the intersection of IT and facilities, shaping electrical infrastructure and OT within a transforming data center landscape.Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Act as Design Manager on data center projects, guiding electrical design from concept to closeout
- Remain hands-on in electrical design and own critical design aspects for mission critical facilities
- Lead and coordinate electrical engineers and SMEs within a multidisciplinary design team
- Manage design deliverables, resources, schedules, and quality across projects
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentoring to the DC Design u0026 Engineering team
- Develop, implement, and uphold electrical design quality standards, procedures, and best practices
- Review and approve electrical designs, calculations, reports, and specifications; facilitate peer reviews
- Act as client-facing technical lead in meetings with clients, contractors,



and internal stakeholders
- Lead project teams during value engineering, optioneering, and technical decision-making stages
- Participate in and lead project site visits to monitor installation and commissioning matters
- Collaborate with project management, commercial, and construction teams for successful outcomesResponsabilidades
- BSc / MSc in Electrical Engineering; MSc preferred
- 8-10 years of experience
- Experience delivering electrical engineering services for mission-critical facilities
- MV and LV power distribution; transformers; UPS and standby generation systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices
- Experience with value engineering and integrating new technologies
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous
- Fluent Spanish and/or Italian u0026 English
- Familiarity with edge computing and AI technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
