Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead electrical reliability initiatives across Amazon’s European operations, with a focus on power resilience, safety, and data-driven decisions. You’ll coordinate across engineering, operations, and vendor teams to improve uptime and reduce EU-wide downtime due to power events. You will apply deep electrical expertise to audit, model, and implement improvements from design through commissioning. This position blends technical leadership with cross-functional collaboration to sustain world-class last-mile performance.Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Lead power resilience improvement workstreams spanning central engineering and site teams
- Manage vendor relationships and review vendor deliverables for accuracy and compliance
- Deliver status reports and executive briefings to senior stakeholders
- Serve as SME in electrical distribution for site auditing, RCA, and problem resolution
- Lead end-to-end Power System Studies: data collection, modelling, and on-site implementation
- Evaluate commissioning and maintenance documentation for electrical assets to identify risks and support data-driven decisions
- Ensure compliance with EU electrical safety standards and regulations (BS 7671, local EU requirements)
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies for electrical operational risks (arc flash) and safe systems of work
- Leverage data analytics to prioritize asset reliability and programs
- Support annual budgeting and planningResponsabilidades
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years in electrical discipline or technical program management related to electrical subjects
- Experience with power system studies and software (short-circuit analysis, protection coordination, arc flash analysis, load flow and power quality for LV/MV/HV)
- Knowledge of LV/MV/HV switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, UPS
- Experience leading large-scale technical programs and vendor management
- Experience with asset reliability, condition monitoring (DGA, thermal imaging, partial discharge, insulation resistance) and PM/maintenance frameworks
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations and risk mitigation
- Experience in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving across cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in data analysis and evidence-based decision-making
- Preferred but not required: lean/Six Sigma, professional engineer license, multilingual (French/Spanish/German/Italian)Requisitos principales
