As part of R&D; Software Development Management at GRAITEC, you are responsible for the technical execution, people leadership, and strategic evolution of the engineering organization across multiple product lines. This role represents the natural progression of senior Software Engineers and Architects, combining deep technical expertise, delivery ownership, and organizational leadership.

Core Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop software engineering teams across backend, frontend, and platform domains

Own end‑to‑end delivery (scope, quality, timelines) ensuring predictable and scalable execution

Drive architectural consistency and governance across products and technology stacks

Collaborate with Product, QA, and other stakeholders to define and execute product roadmaps

Ensure adoption of engineering best practices (clean code, testing, CI/CD, security, code reviews)

Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of engineering talent

Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

Technical Scope Backend systems (C# & C++, services, data platforms)

Frontend platforms (Web & Desktop applications)

3D visualization pipelines and CAD environments

Cloud infrastructure and DevOps ecosystems

Strategic & Transformation responsibilities

Strategic & Transformation Responsibilities Lead the AI‑augmented Software Engineering transformation, including:

AI‑assisted coding and code reviews

AI‑driven testing and quality analytics

AI‑supported architecture analysis

Developer productivity automation

Scale engineering capabilities across desktop, web, and cloud environments

Ensure cross‑product technical alignment and platform consistency

Contribute to the long‑term evolution of engineering practices and capabilities

Qualifications 6+ years of experience in software engineering

Proven track record of owning delivery, technical quality, and team performance

Strong background in software architecture, distributed systems, and scalable applications

Experience working with CAD, 3D visualization, engineering software, or computational platforms

Hands‑on experience across desktop, web, and cloud‑based systems

Experience leading cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams

Solid experience with Agile methodologies and engineering delivery governance

Experience in mentoring engineers, technical leads, or architects

Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools and modern engineering productivity solutions is a strong advantage

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Strong xbhjioe foundation in software architecture and design patterns; distributed systems and cloud infrastructure; desktop and web application development; high‑performance or computational systems

Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to scale teams and talent

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills

Experience with engineering metrics, KPIs, and performance tracking

Familiarity with hybrid environments (Desktop + Web + Cloud)

Knowledge or exposure to AI‑driven development practices, developer automation tools, intelligent testing, and quality systems

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written)
