In this role you will define, implement and support the industrial means and automation for a spacecraft production line. You will collaborate with engineering and supply chain to ensure on-time, on-cost, high-quality delivery of production equipment. You’ll lead manufacturing process improvements and digitalization efforts to boost efficiency. You’ll work on production ramp-up and continuous improvement initiatives that shape space manufacturing capabilities.

- Define, specify and implement industrial means aligned with process requirements and ergonomics standards for spacecraft production lines
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure delivery on time, cost, and quality of industrial means
- Lead design-for-manufacturing discussions with Engineering and production teams
- Define automation, machine programming and maintenance strategy roadmaps
- Define digitalization requirements to align with the production tool suite
- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting on industrial means on the shop floor




- Drive continuous improvement using Kaizen, PPS and industrial means requirements
- Contribute to PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA activities as part of a multifunctional team
- Simulate production ramp-up scenarios and propose forward paths

Responsabilidades

- Higher Education related to Aeronautic, Industrial, Electronic Engineering
- At least 5 years experience leading automation and programming of machine processes in industrialization/improvement projects
- English proficiency
- Digital mindset with automation, scripting and use of digital design xugodme tools/simulators
- Knowledge of electronic manufacturing and test processes (valued)
- Proactive, organized, autonomous with strong teamwork
- Continuous improvement orientation
- Customer support approach with openness and flexibility
- Leadership and change-management mindset
- Interest in space business
