ppAn opportunity for a bCombat Program Supply Manager /b has arisen within bAirbus Defence and Space /b, Getafe (Madrid). This role is responsible for the overall Supply Chain Management within combat programs, ensuring efficient and strategic procurement and supplier relationships. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and execute bid management activities for combat program supply contracts, including proposal preparation and negotiation strategy development. /li liManage the end-to-end supply chain for assigned combat programs, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and quality compliance. /li liDevelop and implement strategic procurement plans, identifying and onboarding key suppliers for combat program components and services. /li liCultivate and maintain strong supplier relationships through effective supplier management, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. /li liDrive negotiation processes with suppliers to secure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing agreements. /li liOversee program and project management aspects related to supply chain activities within combat programs. /li liFacilitate transnational management and leadership, coordinating with international stakeholders and teams to optimize integral supply chains. /li liCommunicate effectively across internal departments and with external partners, ensuring clear understanding of supply chain requirements and progress. /li liIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks specific to combat programs, developing contingency plans as needed. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred); alternative degrees will be considered. /li liExperience: 3-5 years of experience in Bid Management, preferably within a defense or aerospace context. /li liExceptional Interpersonal and Communication skills,
