As Data Centre Electrical Design Manager you will lead the electrical design for mission-critical data centers across Spain and Italy, reporting to the EMEA Director of Engineering. You will guide the design, development, and implementation of innovative, scalable DC solutions and mentor a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes. You’ll balance technical leadership with client-facing collaboration, driving value engineering and adoption of new technologies. This role sits at the intersection of IT and facilities, shaping electrical infrastructure and OT within a transforming data center landscape.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Act as Design Manager on data center projects, guiding electrical design from concept to closeout
• Remain hands-on in electrical design and own critical design aspects for mission critical facilities
• Lead and coordinate electrical engineers and SMEs within a multidisciplinary design team
• Manage design deliverables, resources, schedules, and quality across projects
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentoring to the DC Design u0026 Engineering team
• Develop, implement, and uphold electrical design quality standards, procedures, and best practices
• Review and approve electrical designs, calculations, reports, and specifications; facilitate peer reviews




• Act as client-facing technical lead in meetings with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Lead project teams during value engineering, optioneering, and technical decision-making stages
• Participate in and lead project site visits to monitor installation and commissioning matters
• Collaborate with project management, commercial, and construction teams for successful outcomes
Responsabilidades
• BSc / MSc in Electrical Engineering; MSc preferred
• 8-10 years of experience
• Experience delivering electrical engineering services for mission-critical facilities
• MV and LV power distribution; transformers; UPS and standby generation systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices
• Experience xqbhyrx with value engineering and integrating new technologies
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous
• Fluent Spanish and/or Italian u0026 English
• Familiarity with edge computing and AI technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strategic thinking and ability to drive long-term innovation
