The position is also responsible for installation, visual inspection and setup of machines and equipment within expected quality and safety guidelines,



whether manual or computerized.Responsibilities- Operate and maintain machines and equipment- Use hand tools- Move materials and parts to and from work areas via power lift trucks and forklifts- Ensure a smooth flow of production- Involved in solving production and technological problems- Follow complex verbal and written instructions- Apply basic shop math skills- Comply with established guidelines and procedures- Adhere to all safety procedures and policy- Read and follow route sheets/blueprints- Train new machine operators- Maintain high level of organization skills- Work well in a team environment- Stand for long periods, perform repetitive arm motions, and lift up to 50 lbs- Hold forklift certification- Perform other duties as assignedQualifications- Experience in machining or a similar field- Experience using and interpreting precision measuring instruments- Basic computer skills- HS diploma or GED and 3–5 years relevant experienceEOE including disability/protected veterans.
