You will be responsible for achieving target efficiency, spoilage, and environmental compliance, while supporting optimization of material usage, supplies, and utilities. /ppIn this role, you will lead a specific process area based on your expertise and contribute to building technical capability across sites during critical start-up phases. /ppPlease note that this role requires frequent travel across the EMEA region to support plant operations, projects and stakeholder collaboration. /ph3Key Responsibilities Include /h3ulliPerforming specialised chemical and process adjustments to optimise production outcomes. /liliLeading troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex mechanical and process issues. /liliEnsuring optimal performance and reliability of chemical processing equipment during start-ups, delivering results aligned with start-up curves. /liliProviding technical leadership for FE area performance during start-up phases. /liliTraining site personnel in process understanding, performance expectations, and autonomous operation. /liliSupporting emergency breakdowns and size conversions, enabling local teams to execute independently.



/liliConducting quality checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards, legal requirements, and site procedures. /liliIdentifying and eliminating waste, inefficiencies, and material losses, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. /liliSupporting development and execution of preventive maintenance routines. /liliOptimising chemical processing lines using in-line measurement systems and controls to maintain stability and performance. /liliSupporting implementation of BOE standards within assigned areas. /li /ulh3What we’re looking for? /h3ulliDegree in Chemical Engineering and relevant experience (minimum 3 years as CPO or CPM in can manufacturing) /liliStrong hands-on experience with washers, wastewater treatment systems, soluble oil systems, filtration and cooling towers /liliProven capability in equipment setup, troubleshooting and optimisation, with solid understanding of chemical properties, reactions, handling, storage and disposal /liliAbility to train and transfer process knowledge to others (Train-the-Trainer certification is an advantage) /liliStrong analytical and data-driven mindset, with proficiency in computer tools for data analysis and reporting /liliExperience with line launches or rebuild projects is an advantage /liliContinuous improvement and ownership mindset with focus on waste reduction /liliFlexibility to travel on short notice /liliFluency in English is required, additional languages are an advantage. /li /ulpWork Environment:



Please note that this role can be based in any eligible Ball manufacturing location within EMEA. /ppHiring Range: 40,500 - 58,320 EUR gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks.
