We are partnering with a fast‑growing consumer marketplace operating at significant scale across Southern Europe.

The company is strengthening its Product organization and is now looking for a Senior Product Manager (Payments) to join a core Product tribe focused on transactional services and monetization.

This role sits at the intersection of payment infrastructure, compliance, and product strategy, partnering closely with Engineering, Data, Finance, and Operations in a highly cross‑functional environment.

Your Mission

As a Senior Product Manager for Payments, you will lead the end‑to‑end strategy for checkout, payment methods, wallet, and monetization services. Your work will ensure that millions of transactions are seamless, secure, and cost‑efficient while enabling new business opportunities.

You will play a crucial role balancing user experience with system reliability, business performance, and regulatory constraints.

What You Will Do

- Own the strategy and roadmap for Payments, Wallet, and Checkout.
- Optimize processing costs, authorization rates, and payment reliability.
- Lead integrations with PSPs, payment methods, and internal financial systems.
- Ensure compliance with PSD2, AML, and other financial regulations.




- Design and test pricing and monetization models across the payments ecosystem.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Ops, and Data to launch new services and improve existing ones.
- Run experimentation (A/B tests, pricing experiments) to maximize conversion and revenue.
- Monitor KPIs and continuously improve critical transaction flows.

What We’re Looking For

- Extensive experience in Product Management within Payments, Fintech, or Marketplace environments.
- Strong knowledge of wallets, escrow, acquiring, gateways, and API integrations.
- Experience with compliance and regulatory frameworks (PSD2, AML, KYC).
- Excellent analytical mindset and ability to make data‑driven decisions.
- Strong technical fluency, comfortable discussing architecture with engineers.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, and Operations.

Nice to Have

- Experience in monetization strategy.
- Understanding of cross‑border payments or multicurrency systems.
- Background in Computer Science or Engineering.
