➡️ Who are we?
haddock is the market‑leader solution for point of control in restaurants, handling all back‑office vital operations like product management, inventories, purchases, price tracking, document conciliation, bank conciliation, paychecks, clocking in/out, P&L; reports, etc. We also provide AI workforce, starting with Fina, whose agents work 24/7 to automate tedious tasks, delivering measurable time and money savings.

Our mission is to empower millions of restaurateurs to level up their business. Our vision is to lead the market through innovation and strong relationships, becoming the go‑to tech partner for restaurant success. We are backed by Y Combinator, JME, Decelera, Extension Fund, Wayra, and Zone2Boost.

Why are we hiring?

Because our ambitions are expanding—more customers, more AI automation, and relentless focus on delivering value at scale.

About Product Managers at haddock

At haddock, a Product Manager is an uncertainty resolver bridging complex AI technology and real‑world restaurant needs. You will lead large initiatives independently and maintain a direct pulse on our customers.

- You won’t be writing specs: Product Engineers own the technical specs and execution. You focus on the "Why" and the "What," speaking with customers, analysing data, and collaborating with engineers to decide what not to build.
- Prototyping is your superpower: We favor action. Spend significant time prototyping and validating ideas, iterating from concept to customer‑validated solution.
- AI‑native mindset: Think of AI as the core engine—rethink user flows, shape AI outputs with criteria and context.
- Customer proximity: Many restaurants are based right here in Barcelona; you will be just a step away from the people using what you build.

About How We Create Product At Haddock

- Shape the team: Currently a small, focused team—Ingrid and Andrea. You’ll help shape the product organization from the ground up.
- Radical simplicity: Priorise simple solutions and proven patterns over unnecessary complexity.
- High ownership: Work as a Directly Responsible Individual—engineers own stability and execution; you own discovery and ultimate success.
- Agile execution: Apply a lean model—prototype, launch, learn. A 3‑day prototype in Figma or NoCode tools delivers more value than a 3‑week spec.

What You’ll Do

- Strategy & vision: Align product discovery with business goals, making data‑driven and user‑centered decisions.
- Fast iteration: Prioritise solutions into small releases, ideate, prototype, launch, and repeat until problems are solved.
- Direct customer feedback: Join customer meetings and dive into their workflows to ensure we move the needle.
- AI orchestration: Define how our AI agents interact with our systems, scaling based on real‑world observation.
- Full ownership: Lead initiatives lifecycles from the first "Why" to monitoring adoption and impact.
- Lead the bar: Demand excellence in the user experience, shipping fast without compromising core value.

Example objectives for your first months

- Group vision discovery: Lead discovery for our "Restaurant Groups" vision to drive growth in weekly active users.
- Kickstart major initiatives:

Launch large‑scale initiatives like "Orders" with engineering, proposing iterative solutions to solve complex problems fast.

What You Need To Bring

- Hunger & curiosity: A natural drive to learn and experiment with cutting‑edge AI models and tools.
- Great judgment: The ability to discard most ideas and choose only what aligns strictly with company objectives.
- Customer love: A genuine passion for understanding what users actually need (and why).
- Proactivity: Bottom‑up action—don’t wait for a roadmap; act to provide value.
- Problem‑solving: A mix of analytical/data skills and design/UX intuition, caring about how it looks and performs.

Why Join Us?

We’re building something ambitious. Join a team where you have a real seat at the table in defining our product culture and empower the entire organization to be 10x more productive through AI.

What we offer?

- Salary: A competitive €40-55k gross/year, increasing with growth.
- Office: A bright, modern office in Poblenou, Barcelona.
- Hybrid work: 2 days per week at the office for high‑bandwidth collaboration; 3 days remote for deep focus.
- AI tooling: Access to all AI tools you wish to experiment with.
- Urban Sports Club: Subsidised membership for yoga, HIIT, etc.
- Playflow: Tax benefits when spending part of your salary.
