From Hays Technology , we are looking for a NIS2 Compliance & Regulatory Alignment Specialist to join one of our key clients, a leading organization operating at European level.

This role supports compliance with the EU NIS2 Directive and its national transpositions, ensuring regulatory alignment across EU Member States.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and analyze NIS2 national transpositions across EU Member States, identifying country-specific requirements and regulatory impacts.
- Conduct gap assessments between NIS2 obligations and existing security, operational, and compliance controls.
- Support the definition and harmonization of common controls to ensure consistent NIS2 compliance across jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, Legal, Risk, Technology, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Build and maintain a centralized NIS2 documentation and evidence repository.
- Track compliance actions, support readiness assessments, and report progress to senior stakeholders.
- Prepare clear updates, dashboards,



and communications for leadership and key stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong knowledge of the NIS2 Directive, EU regulatory landscape, and cybersecurity governance.
- Experience in compliance, regulatory analysis, risk management, or cybersecurity.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable business controls.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience in telecoms, critical infrastructure, cloud, or digital services.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, DORA, GDPR, or SOC 2.
- Exposure to large-scale, multi-country compliance programs.
