ppCoonerang is an independent educational company operating two centres in Arroyomolinos, Madrid. /p pOur programmes combine practical English, communication, storytelling, missions, problem-solving, teamwork and Cambridge preparation. We are currently professionalising our academic system, developing new materials and building a model that can deliver consistent quality across teachers, groups and future locations. /p h3The Opportunity /h3 pWe are looking for an bAcademic Product Director /b to own and develop Coonerang’s academic system. /p pThe role will be responsible for connecting methodology, curriculum, materials, teacher recruitment, teacher training, classroom quality and student assessment into one coherent and scalable model. /p pDuring the first academic year, the Academic Product Director will work closely with the CEO to align the company’s vision, classroom reality and academic standards. Once the model has been built and validated, the objective is for the role to operate with full ownership and direct accountability. /p h3Methodology and academic architecture /h3 ul liDefine and document what Coonerang teaches, why it teaches it and how it should be delivered. /li liBuild clear academic progression across early years, primary, secondary and adult programmes. /li liTranslate the Coonerang vision into practical classroom standards. /li /ul h3Curriculum and materials /h3 ul liDesign, write, review and approve student materials, teacher guides and mission-based learning sequences. /li liEstablish briefs, deadlines, pilots, acceptance criteria and version control. /li liWork with content-development and proofreading support. /li /ul h3Teacher recruitment and qualification /h3 ul liDefine teacher profiles and academic selection criteria. /li liParticipate in interviews, practical tasks and demo lessons. /li liDetermine teacher readiness for different ages, programmes and Cambridge groups.



/li /ul h3Teacher training and quality /h3 ul liBuild onboarding and training systems. /li liLead observations, feedback and improvement plans. /li liEstablish clear classroom-quality standards and measurable expectations. /li /ul h3Student progress and assessment /h3 ul liDefine progression criteria and assessment systems. /li liIdentify students and groups that require intervention. /li liConnect academic data with teacher development and family communication. /li /ul h3Leadership and scalability /h3 ul liWork closely with the Academic Coordinator, Cambridge specialist and teaching team. /li liDocument processes and systems so that academic quality does not depend on one individual. /li liBuild a model that can eventually be replicated in additional centres. /li /ul h3Internal Support /h3 pThe Academic Product Director will not work alone. The role will be supported by: /p ul liAn Academic Coordinator responsible for day-to-day implementation, teacher coordination and operational follow-up. /li liA content-development and proofreading profile. /li liA Cambridge specialist responsible for examination programmes, materials and technical training. /li liThe CEO during the first year of design and implementation. /li /ul pThis position is not responsible for: /p ul liGeneral administration. /li liPayments or collections. /li liRoutine customer-service enquiries. /li liFacilities. /li liMarketing. /liliDay-to-day timetable administration.
