and evaluation services with a focus on the risk management and
quality assurance of both PV and BESS power plants and equipment.
Kiwa PI Berlin was founded in Berlin in 2006, has a permanent
subsidiary located in Bilbao since 2019 and became part of the Kiwa
Group in 2022. Job description Reporting to the Head of Converters
and Storage, he/she will be responsible for managing projects,
specifically: Evaluate technical offers of the providers and rank
them according to technical and bankability criteria Technical
negotiation of purchase agreements on behalf of the Buyer Carry out
technological advice on components Define the technical quality
requirements that are included in the EPC contracts for the
selection of the main components, plant design, installation and
start-up of plants. Supervise of the manufacturing process in China
or wherever the factory is located Manage quality assurance
projects during manufacturing of BESS, inverters and transformer
components in collaboration with our Chinese team based in Shanghai




Conduct on site supervision activities during the construction and
commissioning phase Conduct Root Cause Analysis on faulty
components during operation Manage factory audits related to ESG
and traceability aspects Review of the technical design of BESS
units Provide support to the commercial area during the sales
process Requirements Degree/masters in engineering At least 5 years
of experience in the renewable industry in contact with components
such as: inverters, transformers, BESS… Strong knowledge in the
area of BESS (manufacturing process, reliability tests,
regulations, ability to technically negotiate equipment purchase
contracts, knowledge of failures in operation and how to carry out
root cause analysis…) Fluency in English is essential Experience
working with international teams Proactivity, reliability,
teamwork, good customer relations and negotiating skills.
Programming skills is an asset Experience in the field of
