Our European headquarters is in Barcelona, leading the brand’s development across the region. /ppThis position is based fully on-site at our Barcelona office. /ph3bWhy join us? /b /h3ulliShape and lead ESG strategy in a fast-growing international automotive brand. /liliDrive high-impact sustainability projects across Europe. /liliWork directly with EU regulators, investors, NGOs, and industry associations. /liliCollaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate ESG into business operations. /liliEnjoy strong career growth opportunities in an innovative environment. /liliAssist the ESG Director in formulating and implementing the company’s ESG and sustainability strategy. /liliLead ESG projects including carbon neutrality, renewable energy adoption, and green supply chain initiatives. /liliDevelop and monitor ESG performance indicators and prepare ESG-related reports in line with international standards (GRI, SASB, CSRD, etc.). /liliCoordinate with internal departments (HR, Operations, Compliance, Finance, etc.) to integrate ESG practices into business operations. /liliEngage with stakeholders including investors, government agencies, NGOs, and industry associations to strengthen ESG reputation, collecting and tracking stakeholder expectations. /liliTrack international and EU ESG regulatory developments and provide guidance to ensure compliance. /liliDirectly or indirectly manage compliance with current and future ESG-related local and EU regulations (EUBR, EUDR, F-gas, CO2 emission standards, CBAM, CSDDD, CSRD, EU Forced Labor, Green Claim, CLP, etc.).
/liliCommunicate with EU/local ESG legislative bodies to stay updated on regulation development and amendments. /liliEmpower local employees on ESG compliance awareness and supervise implementation. /liliPromote CSR activities and employee participation in sustainability programs, and communicate Chery’s ESG practices in the EU to enhance brand image. /liliSupport external ESG audits and rating agency evaluations, ensuring transparent and accurate disclosures. /li /ulh3bQualifications /b /h3ulliBachelor’s degree or above in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Law, Business Administration, or related fields. /lili10+ years of ESG, sustainability, compliance, or CSR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. /liliCandidates with a legal and compliance background will be prioritized. /liliFamiliarity with international and EU ESG standards and frameworks (GRI, SASB, CSRD, TCFD, UN SDGs). /liliStrong project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional leadership skills. /liliFluent in English, Spanish and Catalan; Chinese is a plus. /liliExperience in multinational corporations or automotive/industrial sectors preferred. /liliStrong data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills. /liliHigh level of integrity, strategic thinking, and ability to work under pressure. /li /ulh3bWhat we offer /b /h3ulliCompetitive salary range. /liliExecutive career path in a leading international automotive brand. /liliOpportunity to lead ESG transformation and compliance in the EU region. /liliExposure to integral ESG practices and collaboration with international teams. /liliOn-site position at our Barcelona headquarters. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
