Project Manager – Entrepreneurship & Innovation

We are looking for a Project Manager to join the Entrepreneurship and Innovation area of a leading international academic institution based in Barcelona.

The role will support the attraction, development and implementation of competitive projects focused on entrepreneurship, innovation, technology transfer, corporate venturing and startups.

Key responsibilities

- Identify relevant European and international funding opportunities and support proposal development.

- Coordinate and implement competitive projects, from award to completion.

- Collaborate with consortium partners and internal and external stakeholders.

- Support project deliverables, reporting and administrative requirements.

- Conduct qualitative research and analysis, including literature reviews, interviews and surveys.

- Prepare and review proposals, reports and presentations.

- Contribute to the development of entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives.

The position is expected to combine approximately 60% project management and back-office activities with 40% stakeholder-facing responsibilities, depending on project needs.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an excellent academic record.





- Native or fully bilingual English

- 4–8 years of experience in European competitive projects related to entrepreneurship and/or innovation.

- Experience in both pre-award activities (project identification and proposal development) and post-award management and implementation.

- Knowledge of programmes such as Horizon Europe, EIT or similar European initiatives.

- Strong analytical, writing and project management skills.

- Advanced command of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

- Interest or experience in technology transfer, corporate venturing, startups or innovation ecosystems.

- Strong attention to detail, planning and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment.

- Work permit for Spain.

- Availability for occasional travel.
