In this role you will lead strategic engagement with government entities, regulators, and policymakers in Spain and Portugal, aligning public policy with business objectives. You will build relationships, monitor regulatory developments, and influence policy outcomes to protect and advance the company’s interests. You’ll navigate political landscapes, manage risk, and unlock opportunities in two dynamic markets. This is a pivotal role for shaping policy and government relations strategy in Southern Europe.

• Develop and implement government relations and public policy strategies for Spain and Portugal aligned with company goals.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with government officials, regulators, and industry stakeholders to advocate for the company.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, assess impact, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Represent the company at government meetings, public hearings, conferences, and other events.




• Collaborate with Legal, Communications, and Product to integrate policy initiatives with business strategies and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee external policy consultancies and trade associations to ensure alignment with internal objectives and performance.
• Provide regular reporting on policy developments, advocacy efforts, and risks to ensure compliance.

Responsabilidades
• Significant experience in government relations or public policy with familiarity of Spain and Portugal political/regulatory environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate policy issues and business impact.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to persuade and convey complex ideas.
• Proven relationship management with diverse stakeholders including government officials and industry leaders. xqbhyrx
• Willingness to travel within Southern Europe and occasionally to other European locations.
