ppDescripción del trabajo About the RoleWe are looking for a full‑time, permanent Biology Teacher for our BSB Castelldefels campus, to start in September 2026. We deliver the IGCSE Triple and Double Award Science, the IBDP and A Level programme, and have six well‑resourced labs and a bespoke STEAM centre for Year 12 and 13 students. /p ul liTeach Biology up to IBDP Higher Level. /li liDeliver outstanding lessons in an innovative and inspirational way. /li liHave high expectations of all students and track progress based on relevant data, observations and a wide range of assessments. /li liMaintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour and standards of work. /li liAssess students’ work in line with school policies and procedures, referring to student performance targets. /li liSupport the delivery of the vision for your department and BSB more widely. /li liSupport the collaborative planning within your department, developing an exciting and engaging curriculum.



/li liSupport robust and formative assessment systems within your department and the programme for ntribute to professional development conversations with others within your team and actively seek opportunities for your own personal ntinue your personal development and participate in the school’s staff development and performance management programme. /li liAttend staff meetings, open evenings and parents’ evenings. /li liAttend assemblies and the staff morning briefing. /li liAs a tutor, support the pastoral care for your form ntribute to the extra‑curricular programme of the school. /li liDo anything reasonable required by the Headteacher and Principal. /li /ul h3Who We Are Looking For /h3 pAn essential criterion for this role is a proven track record in teaching Biology at GCSE and IBDP or A level standards.
