At Astek, we’re looking for an Associate Product Owner / Hybrid Technical Business Analyst to join a general team driving innovation in the Mobile Messaging and MarTech space into the pharma sector.

In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Development Teams, and external vendors to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will play a key role in backlog management, requirements engineering, system integration analysis, and agile delivery while acting as a trusted Proxy Product Owner when needed.

Responsibilities

- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed user stories and technical specifications.

- Co‑own and refine the product backlog with the Product Owner.

- Define acceptance criteria, user scenarios, and data mappings.

- Analyze system workflows, APIs, integrations, and data models.

- Collaborate with architects and vendors to evaluate and validate solutions.

- Support agile ceremonies, sprint execution, and development teams.

- Drive UAT preparation and execution.

- Conduct technical assessments and gap analyses.

- Act as Proxy Product Owner for specific product domains when required.

Qualifications

-

- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Technical Consultant,



or similar role.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).

- Experience working closely with architects and engineering teams.

- Knowledge of CRM, Omnichannel Marketing, Marketing Automation, Analytics, or Commercial Excellence.

- Ability to work across technical and business teams.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.

- Experience with Mobile Messaging or Social Media platforms is a plus.

- Experience in pharma or similar sectors is a plus.
