Creative Tech & Digital Designer

Openbank Deutschland AG is seeking a Creative Tech & Digital Designer based in Madrid, Spain. The role is full‑time and on‑site, offering significant career growth opportunities and a hybrid work model with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

- Lead the creative evolution and technical delivery of relational marketing communications and customer engagement.
- Design mobile‑first, responsive email marketing, CRM, newsletters, lifecycle campaigns, and automated communications.
- Provide art direction on composition, hierarchy, typography, color, imagery, layout, storytelling, and brand consistency.
- Translate marketing briefings into clear, engaging, actionable visual solutions.
- Create designs, components, variants, templates, and modular systems in Figma for production, adaptation, and hand‑off.
- Apply AI to accelerate ideation, asset generation, adaptation, versioning, and hyper‑personalisation while maintaining creative control.
- Ensure email excellence in accessibility, dark mode, readability, CTAs, image weight, compatibility, and mobile experience.

Qualifications
- Proven professional experience as Art Director, Digital Designer, Email Designer, CRM Designer, Marketing Designer, Creative Technologist, or similar role.
- Experience designing email marketing, newsletters, CRM, lifecycle communications, digital campaigns, or marketing automation.
- Advanced Figma skills to develop designs, components, variants, modular systems, visual documentation, and hand‑off.
- Experience applying AI to design, image, content, creative production, versioning, or personalization.




- Experience creating templates, modules, design systems, or reusable components for scalable production.
- Additional experience in animation and video is preferred.
- University‑level education in Design, Art Direction, Advertising, Communication, Marketing, Creative Technology, UX/UI, or related fields.
- Additional education in email marketing, responsive design, marketing automation, creative AI, accessibility, or design systems is preferred.
- Professional English skills are preferred for interaction with global tools, documentation, partners, and teams.
- Core hard skills: digital design and art direction, Figma advanced, email design, AI and creative tools, design, CRM and email marketing.
- Key soft skills: high creative quality, brand excellence orientation, detail orientation, QA rigor, accessibility, mobile experience, technological mindset, AI workflow integration, cross‑functional collaboration, analytical thinking for performance and continuous improvement.
