This is a full‑time job. You will report to the Facilities and Infrastructure Design Manager and be located at our HQ in Madrid. This is a hybrid position. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul li The range of technical competencies would include: ul liCivil – Structural engineering with emphasis in reinforced concrete, structural steel, infrastructures, building structures and architectural components. /li liDesign, occasional use of 2D CAD software, manipulation of 3D design software and BIM methodology. /li /ul /li liPerform a variety of engineering work as an Individual Contributor. Assume technical engineering responsibility and engineering tasks under the review and verification of others. Perform analyses and design activities about the technical competencies. /li liResolve technical issues that are typically not complex. They involve collection, manipulation, and interpretation of engineering data and require application of industry standards, regulations, and project design basis. They also demand understanding and collaboration in the development of structural concepts, details, technical specifications, technical reports, calculations, and sizing analysis. /li liOrigination and verification of drawings, provide instructions to drafting activities, and preparation of work deliverables such as engineering change control documents, engineering reports, and calculation notes. /li liPerform work in conformance with applicable engineering codes and standards and company procedures. /li liEnsure work delivered is within the defined scope, completed on time and within budget,



and address commercial impacts. /li liProduce documentation that is technically accurate, grammatically correct, correctly formatted and presented. /li liCollaborate globally within the Westinghouse Engineering framework with a variety of more experienced engineers, designers and international teammates, ensuring communications are direct, accurate and clear. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, and be eligible to be a member of the applicable professional association (Capacitado para ser Colegiado en la rama de ingeniería correspondiente). /li liMinimum 2 years of working experience in Civil or Mechanical‑Structural Engineering roles. Experience in energy, oil and gas, civil construction or similar industries is also valued. /li liFamiliarity with engineering codes, standards and regulatory frameworks, including: ul liStructural Eurocodes. /li liEuropean standards (UNE EN ISO) related to structural materials and components. /li liTechnical standards and regulations nuclear‑related such as ACI, AISC, ASME, NRC, and CSN guidelines. /li /ul /li liDesirable software skills: CAD software, structural analysis software, FEA software. /li liSpanish and English.
