ppAt Palex, we are looking to incorporate a bProduct Manager /b for our specialized Analytical unit, in the bTOC (Total Organic Carbon) line /b. /p pbLocation: /b Madrid or surrounding area. /p pbScope of activity: /b Spain and Portugal. /p pThe selected person will be responsible for leading, driving and developing the TOC and water analysis business, acting as the strategic engine of the line and as the main point of contact with suppliers. This position will report directly to the Marketing Manager of the Analytical Business Unit. /p pAs Product Manager, you will support the sales activities for TOC within the Analytical business, leading the generation, tracking and support of sales opportunities together with the corresponding Account Managers. As Product Manager, you will also take part in applications discussions and training assistance. /p pThe aim of the position is not only to maintain and develop the TOC business, but also to incorporate new related portfolio with the intention of creating an Environmental Section with multiple and connected analytical solutions, actively participating in strategy development for business growth with investment opportunities. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liDirect responsibility for the budget of TOC instruments and environmental-related products for Spain and Portugal, as well as for other minor products depending on the needs of the Analytical Department. /li liFull product management, including monitoring of stock levels. /li liDay-to-day management of the relationship with suppliers and key contacts. /li liPreparation of documentation and internal training for the sales force, including information about competitors. /li liSupport to sales team in their commercial activities. /li liPreparation of configurations for open opportunities. /li liContribution to applicative discussions before and after the sale. /li liParticipation in customer training together with the supplier, as well as receiving training from suppliers.



/li liContribution to the annual strategy in coordination with the commercial area. /li liParticipation in demo events, conferences and other product promotion actions. /li liIdentification of new market opportunities, target segments and potential new product lines, with a clear focus on market expansion and business growth. /li /ul h3What we are looking for /h3 ul libEducation: /b Degree/PhD in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar. /li libSpecific knowledge: /b TOC at user and instrumental level, and water analysis techniques. Experience as a lead in project management and commercial activities. Advanced command of IT tools. /li libExperience: /b Minimum of 3 years of general experience. Experience in a similar role is a plus, as is team management experience. Idóneo candidates will have worked as a lead user of water analysis and/or TOC techniques, as a lead of commercial projects, or as a product manager of the mentioned techniques. /li libCore competencies: /b Applied and theoretical knowledge of TOC and water analysis techniques, as well as project management. /li libLanguages: /b English and Spanish required (high level). Portuguese and German desirable (basic/intermediate level). /li libPersonal attributes: /b Proactivity to innovate, organization, flexibility, strong communication and negotiation skills, and good interpersonal skills with both customers and colleagues.
