ph3About Us /h3 pAt Félix, we're building the financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S., starting with a revolution in remittances. Our core product is an AI-powered chatbot powered by WhatsApp, allowing our users to send money home as easily as sending a text message. We leverage cutting-edge technology like AI, blockchain, and stablecoins to make cross-border payments faster, more affordable, and more accessible than ever before. /p pWe are a hyper-growth Series B company, backed by over $100 million in funding from top-tier global investors, including QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, and General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavour Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award. We are a group of extremely talented and dedicated high-performers, united by our shared obsession with a single goal: empowering our customers. We are all owners of Félix, driven by a bias for action and a true experimentation spirit to get shit done with urgency and focus. /p pJoining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long. We are a team that is fiercely loyal to each other, where radical transparency and constructive feedback are how we grow and push for excellence. We are building the future, today. /p h3About The Role /h3 pWe’re looking for a Compliance Operations Project Manager who will drive execution across the compliance roadmap. You are not the person running the queues, you are the person making sure the right projects get delivered on time, processes improve continuously, and cross-functional work doesn’t fall through the cracks. /p pYou’ll work closely with the Compliance Ops Manager to translate strategic priorities into concrete, trackable projects. You’ll partner with Engineering, Legal, Product, and external vendors to ship initiatives that make our compliance operations faster and more robust. And you’ll maintain visibility over the Team Leads’ work, not to manage them, but to identify friction, surface blockers, and keep the broader picture coherent. /p pThis is an execution-first role for someone who thrives on structure, loves getting things done in complex environments, and wants to grow into a senior compliance or operations leader. /p pbReporting Line: /bYou report directly to the Compliance Ops Manager.
Operational decisions within defined parameters are yours to own. Regulatory, legal, or strategic decisions are escalated upward in to the Compliance Ops Manager. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul libCross-Functional Project Execution /b ul liManage and propose end-to-end compliance projects assigned by the Compliance Ops Manager, from scoping and stakeholder alignment to launch and post-implementation monitoring. /li liCoordinate across Engineering, Legal, Product, and external partners to ensure technical and regulatory requirements are met simultaneously. /li liMaintain a live project tracker: status, risks, owners, and deadlines visible to the Compliance Ops Manager at all times. /li liFlag scope changes, delays, and blockers early. You're accountable for delivery and its quality, from scoping to hand-off, not just coordination. /li /ul /li libGap Analysis Process Optimization: /b ul liRegularly audit current workflows to identify bottlenecks optimization opportunities: Why are certain holds exceeding SLA? /li liPartner with the Product team to automate repetitive compliance tasks, converting manual reviews into automated or human-in-the-loop workflows. /li liYou design and recommend process changes. You own execution fidelity, bringing projects across the finish line on time and within compliance guardrails. /li /ul /li libCompliance Roadmap Tracking: /b ul liThe Compliance Operations Manager owns our Source of Truth and sets the strategic goals. Your role is to serve that strategy, to own the how. You translate the goals into a clear path forward, track where things stand, and drive how we move along the roadmap. /li liMaintain and update the compliance operations roadmap in partnership with the Compliance Ops Manager: initiatives, owners, timelines, and dependencies. /li liRun regular roadmap review meetings: prepare agendas,
document decisions, and distribute action items. /li liEnsure cross-functional dependencies. /li liProduce concise status updates for the Compliance Ops Manager and senior stakeholders: clear on progress, risks, and decisions needed. /li /ul /li libTeam Leads - Light Coordination: /b ul liYou are not the manager of the Team Leads, but you work closely with them and help keep operational reality connected to project work. /li liMaintain a working understanding of day-to-day queue performance to identify when operational patterns should trigger a process improvement initiative. /li liCoordinate with Team Leads when a project requires their input, testing, or temporary workflow changes. /li liSurface recurring blockers from the Team Leads to the Compliance Ops Manager — you are a communication bridge, not a command layer. /li /ul /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) , Business or Law. /li liExperience: 3 to 5 years in Compliance, Trust Safety, Risk Operations, or other Regulatory Related Environment with at least 2+ years in a leadership level role.
