ph3Description /h3 pThe Food Runner assists servers in delivering food to the proper table at the right time, clearing dirty plates and silverware, responding to other guest needs, and any other tasks that contribute to the smooth flow of the shift. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liCheck food for accuracy, presentation and temperature prior to removing it from the window /li liCommunicate with all parts of the kitchen so food ticket is executed correctly /li liDeliver food to tables promptly /li liAnswer questions about the food if ask guest asks /li liPre-bus soiled plates from guest tables /li liTidy work stations and expo area /li liUnderstand restaurant layout in order for food to be delivered correctly /li /ul h3Working Conditions /h3 ul liStand for the entirety of scheduled shift /li liWalk/move around the restaurant for the majority of scheduled shift /li liBe able to lift up to 20 lbs. /li liBe able to hold warm plates in order to deliver food to guests in a timely fashion /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liStrong verbal skills /li liStrong knowledge of menu items /li liAbility to move quickly to ensure food is delivered promptly and that food in the window doesn’t sit for longer than expected /li /ul h3Education/Experience /h3 ul liHigh School Diploma or equivalent is preferred /li li1-2 years of experience in food service/hospitality field /li liHigh volume restaurant experience is a plus /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
