Therefore, we are seeking a bdynamic and strategic Senior SAP Basis Consultant /b. /p h3Purpose /h3 pThe purpose of this role is based on two main functions: /p ul liThe Senior SAP Basis Consult is responsible for the technical stability, performance, security and controlled operation of the SAP S/4 HANA Private Cloud on SAP RISE landscape. /li liThe role combines senior SAP Basis expertise with strong governance, planning and vendor coordination capabilities. The position ensures that SAP environments are available, monitored, secure, upgrade-ready and aligned with project and operations, release and business requirements. This position plays a key role in SAP Basis operations, transport and release management, incident resolution, patching, system refreshes, connectivity, Fiori/BTP enablement, technical security support, audit readiness and coordination with SAP and external service providers, either in Operations or in the Project landscape-track. /li /ul h3Main Accountabilities /h3 ul liManage SAP S/4 HANA Private Cloud on SAP RISE Basis operations across all environments, ensuring system stability, availability, monitoring, security and technical readiness. /li liSupport core Basis activities including system restarts, client administration, refreshes, client copies, performance monitoring and incident resolution. /li liGovern SAP change, transport and release activities, including cutover, deployment preparation, rollback planning and transition to operations. /li liCoordinate patching, upgrades, maintenance windows and technical impact assessments for SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA DB, OS, other databases not part of S/4 HANA,



like DB2 from Solution Manager and security updates. /li liSupport technical security, connectivity, Fiori, BTP, integration, disaster recovery, documentation, standardisation and continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Work Business Contacts (internal external) /h3 ul liInternal: SAP Basis colleagues, functional teams, security/GRC, integration, development, infrastructure, ALM/change/release teams, Group IT, project managers. /li liExternal: SAP Enterprise Cloud Services, SAP Support, AMS providers, implementation partners, cloud or infrastructure providers, integration partners and other third-party vendors involved in SAP projects and operations. /li /ul h3Position Scope /h3 ul liS/4HANA project team members /li liS/4HANA operations team members/Group IT employees /li /ul h3Profile Skills /h3 pExperience tools: 8–10+ years of /p ul liStrong experience as SAP Basis Consultant, SAP Technical Consultant, SAP Technical Operations Specialist or similar role. /li liHands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA environments, ideally SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition or RISE with SAP. /li liExperience in SAP system administration, monitoring, transport management, performance analysis and incident resolution. /li liExperience with SAP HANA DB administration, technical operations and performance troubleshooting. /li liExperience supporting SAP release upgrades, feature packs, patching, refreshes, client copies and technical cutover activities. /li liExperience working with SAP and-or SAP Rise support teams, AMS partners, cloud partners or managed service providers.



/li liExperience in multinational, multi-country or complex SAP landscapes. /li liExperience supporting project delivery, go-live, hypercare and transition to steady-state operations. /li liExperience with ITSM processes and tools such as ServiceNow, Jira or equivalent. /li liExperience with SAP Cloud ALM for Operations (Monitoring Capabilities) , SAP Solution Manager (Setup and Configuration of their technical scenarios tools), ChaRM or equivalent ALM and transport governance tools is highly preferred. /li /ul h3Skills: Technical /h3 ul liStrong SAP S/4HANA and any SAP Netweaver-based Basis administration skills, covering monitoring, performance troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, system refreshes (HSCs) and client copies. /li liSolid knowledge of SAP transport, release and change management, including CTS, ChaRM, retrofit and production movement coordination. /li liGood understanding of SAP Fiori, BTP, Cloud Connector, technical connectivity, certificates, RFCs, STRUST and interface operations. /li liSound knowledge of SAP security and ITSM processes, including technical users, privileged access, audit evidence, incidents, problems, changes and service requests. /li /ul h3Professional /h3 ul liStrong analytical mindset and troubleshooting focused while analyzing incidents and prioritization skills, with a calm and structured approach during incidents, releases, cutovers and maintenance windows. /li liStrong ownership, attention to detail and documentation discipline, ensuring clear follow-up, traceability, completion and transition of knowledge internally with the teammates. /li liCollaborative and continuous improvement mindset, working across internal teams and external providers to drive standardization, simplification and automation. /li liOther details: English Spanish fluent. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
