We transform complex data landscapes into actionable insights. /p h3Senior Tax Accountant /h3 pReporting to the Tax Manager, the Senior Tax Accountant will oversee the company’s EMEA and APAC direct tax processes, compliance, and initiatives. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liReview or assist with EMEA and APAC corporate tax returns prepared by external advisors. /li liPerform research as required to ensure accuracy of tax filings. /li liReview or assist with the preparation of the annual and quarterly worldwide U.S. GAAP tax provision. /li liCommunicate with tax authorities in a timely manner regarding any communications or notices received. /li liManage EMEA and APAC direct tax payments. /li liSupport the accounting team in the Shared Services Center during audit procedures for local country GAAP financials in the EMEA and APAC region. /li liActive communication and cooperation with the accounting, revenue and accounts payable teams in the Shared Services Center and the IT team. /li liExecute direct tax controls needed for EMEA and APAC compliance. /li liTake responsibility and ownership of relationships at appropriate levels in the organization. /li liOversee and assume ownership of the direct tax processes in EMEA and APAC including compliance with tax filing deadlines and tax calendar. /li liSupport the monitoring of general and local Pillar II legislative developments and help translate them into practical data and process requirements. /li liSupport the gathering, validation, and analysis of financial and tax data required for Pillar II calculations and reporting. /li liAssist in maintaining transfer pricing policy and documentation including coordinating with external advisor. /li liSupport implementing the medium and long-term global direct tax strategy and objectives.



/li liAssist Tax Manager and VP of Tax in tax planning initiatives and special projects. /li liProvide analysis of specific direct tax impacts of certain company transactions. /li liCoordinate and support tax audit responses. /li liMaintain technical proficiency by keeping informed of tax-technical developments, industry trends and direct tax legislative changes, including communicating those changes to key stakeholders and ensuring compliance. /li liProactively identify, recommend, and implement process and tax systems improvements for direct taxes, including automation opportunities. /li liResponsible for identifying and implementing direct tax-related (optimization) opportunities and medium and long term global direct tax strategies and objectives. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul li3+ years of global direct tax experience (EMEA and APAC regions). /li liFluent understanding of direct tax and compliance issues, and related accounting processes. /li liWorking knowledge in the management of direct tax audit processes. /li liLocal country GAAP and US GAAP knowledge is an asset. /li liExperience in tax control issues and process redesign to facilitate compliance with internal control requirements. /li liPrevious experience in a multinational environment including coordinating the efforts of and liaising with team members in other countries. /li liBig Four experience preferred. /li liExperience with tax technology and ERP systems (e.g., Avalara, NetSuite). /li liAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel). /li liExperience in process improvement and automation initiatives within tax compliance. /li liBachelor Degree in Accounting preferred. /li liMaster degree in Taxation preferred. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liGenuine career progression pathways and mentoring programs. /li liCulture of innovation, technology, collaboration, and openness. /li liFlexible, diverse, and international work environment. /li /ul pLocation: Barcelona, Spain /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
