You'll provide independent challenge when needed, but you'll also be a trusted partner who helps teams identify practical solutions, make informed decisions and embed risk management into the way we build products and operate every day. /p pAs Head of Risk Compliance these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role: /p ul liLead the Second Line of Defense, maintaining a holistic view of the company's risk profile and ensuring material risks are appropriately identified, assessed, monitored and managed across all business activities. /li liDefine and continuously evolve the company's Risk Compliance framework, ensuring it remains proportionate, scalable and aligned with the business strategy, regulatory expectations and the company's growth ambitions. /li liOversee the identification and assessment of emerging risks, key risk trends and strategic initiatives,



providing independent challenge and actionable insights to senior management. /li liEnsure effective governance through robust risk reporting, meaningful management information, appropriate policies and governance forums, enabling informed decision-making across the organisation. /li liBuild and maintain trusted relationships with regulators, external auditors and key partners, representing the company on Risk Compliance matters and ensuring constructive regulatory engagement. /li liPromote a strong risk culture across the organisation, encouraging accountability, transparency and informed risk-taking as an integral part of day-to-day decision making. /li liAct as a trusted advisor to Product, Technology, Operations and Commercial teams, helping them understand and manage risks early in the design and delivery of products, services and strategic initiatives. /li liProvide constructive and pragmatic challenge to First Line teams, balancing independent oversight with a solutions-oriented mindset that enables innovation, customer focus and sustainable growth. /li liDrive continuous improvement of the control environment by promoting automation, data-driven risk management and scalable processes that allow the business to move quickly without compromising resilience or regulatory compliance. /li /ul h3WHAT WE´RE LOOKING FOR /h3 pWe are in search of a Head of Risk Compliance to join our team in Madrid, with the following qualifications and background: /p h3Professional Experience /h3 ul li10+ years' experience in Risk Management, or related control functions within fintech or financial services. /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liDegree level education, with relevant academic qualifications desirable. (Preferred) /li liRecognised risk professional qualifications / certifications are beneficial but not a must, practical experience will be prioritised. (Preferred)
