ppThe Fraunhofer Spain Research foundation is looking for a JUNIOR RESEARCH ENGINEER to support research and development activities at the Fraunhofer Center for Applied Theragnostics in Catalonia (Fraunhofer CAT). The candidate will contribute to the development of PET/SPECT simulation, reconstruction and quantitative imaging physics and virtual validation environments for generating virtual twins. /p pThe contract will be within the framework of the Fraunhofer CAT projects, whose objective is the development of new diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic tools in the field of precision medicine. For example, the development of new technologies for i) the establishment of biomimetic organ and tissue models for in vitro testing, ii) the development of sensors and electronic devices, iii) the design and validation of therapeutic strategies for personalized medicine, and iv) the production and validation of new biological models and (v) Bioinformatics and data analysis. /p h3Main duties and responsibilities: /h3 pUnder the supervision of the Fraunhofer CAT direction, the applicant will carry out the following activities: /p ul liDevelopment of PET/SPECT simulation workflows. /li liGATE/Geant4/SimSET-based modelling of scanners and phantoms. /li liSynthetic dataset generation. /li liEvaluation of acquisition and reconstruction protocols. /li liQuantitative accuracy studies. /li liSupport for AI dataset creation and validation. /li liCommunicate results through scientific reports, publications, and presentations. /li liActively contribute to lab research and collaborations. /li /ul h3Requirements for candidates: Essential /h3 ul liMSc in Physics,
