ph3Arcadis is looking for a Cost Manager (f/m/d) to join our team in Madrid or Barcelona. /h3 pOur idóneo candidate will have solid experience in Cost Management, a technical background, and good personal soft skills with an innovative, digital orientation and leadership skills. /p pThe role will be responsible for operationally delivering and managing (sub)projects in line with budgetary, compliance, regulatory and planning controls within required standards of quality, delivery, and safety. /p h3Role accountabilities /h3 ul liTechnical Due Diligence audits: Technical review of installation projects, technical specifications, and maintenance documentation for all types of assets (industrial, residential, tertiary); analyzing regulatory compliance, design and operating conditions and useful life of equipment. /li liPreparation of pre‑contract cost estimates and project cash‑flow. /li liAdvise on contractual matters. /li liPreparation of tender documentation and evaluation, review and validate contractor estimates. /li liIdentifying, analyzing, and developing responses to potential risks. /li liMonitor contractors to ensure compliance with the contract. /li liValidate claims for change on the scope of works and agree new value. /li liMonitor delivery of contractors' services works to ensure that costs are in line with forecasts. /li liUndertaking costs analysis of works or services delivered. /li liPost‑contract administration and management – contract documentation, valuation of progress payment, variation assessment,



and cost control report. /li liProvide financial progress reports. /li /ul h3Qualifications Experience /h3 ul liMust have a minimum of 6 years of experience preferably in cost management teams. /li liUniversity degree in Construction Management (Building Surveying) or Architecture; ME engineers are welcomed. /li liIdeally experience in data centres/MEP and hospitality. /li liProven knowledge in MS Office and MS Project. /li liMRICS or equivalent is not required but will be an asset. /li liTechnical proficiency – measurement, cost estimating, construction technology, contracts and law. /li liPrevious experience within a consultancy environment is a plus. /li liProven experience managing project cost, budget, scope, schedule, and resources, managing vendors, and overseeing formal planning, tracking, and reporting project performance. /li liGood communication skills. /li liGood negotiation and people skills. /li liStrong technical education in building construction. /li liClient‑facing, well‑organized, self‑motivated and able to work on your own as well as within a team and lead it. /li /ul h3Our Commitment to Equality, Diversity, Inclusion Belonging /h3 pWe want you to be able to bring your best self to work every day, which is why we take equality and inclusion seriously and hold ourselves to account for our actions.
