The overall focus of the role is to manage the complete Purchase Order process; including placing and managing the Purchase Orders whilst ensuring any back‑end issues regarding invoice and goods receipt discrepancies are addressed. The role will also be required to conduct sourcing activities for specific defined scopes for the site that are not covered by the Sourcing Specialist role. /p h3Scope of Responsibility /h3 ul liPlace the Purchase Orders, including AMO where applicable, in line with the supplier selection and commercial terms agreed. /li liEnsure Purchase Orders are placed Clean; meaning with the correct and applicable documentation, drawings etc. /li liManage the Open Purchase Orders, including management of dates to MRP need by dates, managing change orders etc. /li liExecute any spot sourcing demand not covered by the Sourcing Specialist function. Any RFQs managed should comply with the general sourcing strategies and suppliers selected based on the appropriate proposal considering Quality, Delivery and Cost offerings.



/li liCreate and expedite any new supplier requests / supplier changes as required to support the BU operations through the MDG‑Supplier process. /li liIdentify any specific supply/supplier risks as it pertains to the managed scope and elevate them through the appropriate process/hierarchy. /li liManage and maintain ERP data parameters as it pertains to Supplier Data and Supply Chain owned fields on Item Data. /li liManagement of Pattern Data within AIM (Castings only) /li liAddress any discrepancies related to pricing or quantity that may impact the Invoice Payment or Goods Receipt processes. /li liOperate in full compliance to all Flowserve Policies Procedures as applicable to the role. /li /ul h3Main Objectives /h3 ul liPO Placement Time /li liMRP Exception Message Management /li liPast Due PO’s /li liInvoice/Good Receipt Discrepancy Resolution /li liCost Reduction (on managed sourced scope) /li liSourcing Strategy Compliance (on managed sourced scope) /li /ul h3Preferred Competencies and Skills /h3 ul liEnglish required /li li2+ years of experience in Supply Chain /li liStrong interpersonal relationship management /li liSolid commercial acumen and negotiation skills /li liProficiency in Project Management /li liKnowledge of supply base in the region for the assigned categories /li liStrong analytical skills which involves collecting, analyzing and interpreting data /li liCertified Supply Chain Professional /li liAbility to influence, communicate, and collaborate at all organizational levels /li liExpertise with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint /li liData and process discipline /li /ul pEOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.
