Responsabilidades

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Underwriter to join our growing Custom team in Spain. This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of underwriting new business and managing a portfolio, while building strong broker relationships and contributing to commercial growth.

You’ll operate within your underwriting authority, working across potentially multi-line business, and playing a key role in delivering strong financial and customer outcomes.

Underwriting & Portfolio Management

- Underwrite new business and renewals within your authority level
- Assess risks, price and structure deals, and produce accurate quotes
- Manage policy issuance and amendments
- Monitor and manage renewals, including non-tacit business
- Support portfolio performance tracking and improvements

Broker Development & Sales

- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers across your region (
- Support business development through meetings, presentations, and training




- Contribute to growth, retention, and profitability targets

Collaboration & Delivery

- Work closely with underwriting, operations, claims, and legal teams
- Contribute to team initiatives, product development, and innovation projects
- Participate in business planning and cross-functional collaboration

Titulaciones

- Minimum 5 years’ underwriting experience in the insurance market

- Strong technical underwriting knowledge and commercial awareness
- Proven ability to build and maintain broker relationships
- Excellent organisation and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proactive, resilient, and collaborative approach
- Degree in Business, Economics, Law, or similar (preferred)
- Business-level English and Spanish required
