ph3About the Role /h3 pLocation: Versátil / Barcelon. /p pOur client is a specialist ingredients company focused on textural solutions and hydrocolloids (carrageenan, tara, pectin, functional fibres) for food, personal care, cosmetics and pharmaceutical markets. /p pWe combine hands‑on application expertise, tailored technical support and international distribution to solve customers’ texture, stability and processing challenges. /p pWe are hiring a Technical Support Specialist to provide market‑focused product recommendations, technical trainings and hands‑on support from lab trials to industrial scale‑up. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPropose rapid, market‑appropriate product recommendations from our portfolio /li liGuide customers through lab, pilot and industrial trials; provide troubleshooting and adaptations /li liTrain and coach sales colleagues on product benefits, differences and commercial value /li liRecord recommendations, trial results and customer feedback in company databases; keep records current /li liRun lab demo sessions and client trainings; accompany sales visits when technical expertise is needed /li liCreate technical marketing materials (bulletins, presentation slides, videos, whitepapers) /li liSupport trade show preparation, tastings and prototype demos /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree or advanced technician qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry,



Food Biochemistry or related field /li liMinimum 5 years’ experience in product development, applications or production within food companies /li liStrong knowledge of GLP, food safety (HACCP), hygiene, basic metrology and relevant market regulations /li liExcellent spoken and written English; bilingualism is an advantage /li liComfortable with laboratory work and customer‑facing technical support; open to travel /li liStrong organisation, autonomy, teamwork and clear technical communication skills /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience with hydrocolloids (carrageenan, pectin, fibres) or stabiliser systems /li liPrior technical sales or applications role supporting B2B food customers /li liExperience producing technical content for digital channels /li /ul h3What Success Looks Like /h3 ul liHigh rate of successful pilot → industrial transfers /li liFaster time from recommendation to trial start /li liClear, up‑to‑date application database and positive customer feedback from trainings/demos /li liHands‑on technical role with direct impact on product launches and customer success /li liInternational exposure across diverse markets and marquee food manufacturers /li liCollaborative, learning‑focused environment with opportunities to present at trade shows and seminars /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
