You'll lead an established engineering team while remaining close to the technology, working alongside Product and Engineering leadership to influence architecture, improve engineering standards, and build highly scalable financial products used by customers across multiple international markets. /p pEngineering sits at the heart of the business, with teams owning products end-to-end and encouraged to challenge ideas, improve systems, and continuously raise the technical bar. /p h3What You'll Be Doing /h3 ul liLead, mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, creating an environment where engineers can thrive. /li liPartner closely with Product to balance business priorities with long-term technical improvements. /li liDrive technical discussions around architecture, scalability, reliability and engineering best practices. /li liHelp identify opportunities where emerging technologies, including AI, can improve engineering productivity and customer outcomes. /li liOwn team planning, prioritisation, delivery and quarterly engineering objectives. /li liChampion automation, operational excellence and platform reliability across your team. /li liSupport the design and delivery of highly available, scalable distributed systems. /li liWork closely with senior engineering leaders to influence technical strategy and engineering standards across the organisation. /li liFoster a collaborative engineering culture focused on ownership,
