As a Junior Accountant (m/f/d) , you will be responsible for:

- Managing day-to-day accounting activities for your assigned entities, initially Spain.
- Preparing and posting journal entries, accruals and prepayments.
- Performing balance sheet and intercompany reconcilations.
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statutory requirements.
- Collaborating with international finance teams across different business functions.
- Identifying accounting discrepancies and supporting their resolution.
- Maintaining accurate accounting records in line with internal controls and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

- Prepare and post accounting entries accurately and on time.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support intercompany accounting processes.
- Contribute to monthly and annual closing activities.
- Work closely with Controlling, Group Finance and other Finance teams.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Europe.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
- Develop knowledge of local accounting regulations and international standards.




- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Finance department.

What are we looking for?

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Knowledge of IFRS is considered an advantage.

Experience

- 0–2 years of accounting experience, including internships.
- Previous experience in Finance or Accounting departments is desirable.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Exact would be an asset.

Technical Knowledge

- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is desirable.
- Ability to work accurately with financial information.
- Analytical thinking.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Team player.
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.

Languages

- Spanish and other European languages are considered a plus.
