We operate a hybrid working arrangement with an expectation of 12 days a month in office. /p pImagine transforming complex clinical trial data into actionable insights that accelerate medical innovation and improve patient outcomes worldwide. As an Associate Clinical Programmer at Novartis, you will be significant contributor in advancing Risk-Based Quality Management (RbQM) and our Central Monitoring platform. You will participate in data-driven clinical operations through advanced analytics, intelligent reporting, and scalable technology solutions. Working alongside cross-functional experts, you will help shape the future of clinical data operations by delivering meaningful insights, driving operational excellence, and enabling smarter decisions across global clinical studies. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul lipContribute to Central Monitoring Platform outputs development using Statistical Analysis System programming and clinical data standards. /p /li lipDevelop analytics dashboards, reports ( KRIs, QTLs and DQA like statistical tests), data pipelines, and monitoring outputs for clinical operations. /p /li lipTranslate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions that improve user experience. /p /li lipPerform operations like Extract, clean, merge, subset, and derive clinical and operational datasets. /p /li lipPartner with study teams, statisticians, and Central Monitoring colleagues to clarify output requirements. /p /li lipParticipate in quality checks and validation routines to ensure complete, accurate reports monitoring data. /p /li lipSupport existing dashboards, reports, and pipelines through scheduled refreshes and performance monitoring.



/p /li /ul h3Essential Requirements /h3 ul lipBachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. /p /li lipIdeally 2-3 years of experience in clinical programming, clinical data analytics, or Risk-Based Quality Management. Knowledge and capabilities in SAS/R programming. /p /li lipStatistical Analysis System programming exposure, including tasks such as data extraction, transformation, derivation, and reporting. /p /li /ul ul lipWorking knowledge of SAS, AI/ML, R/Python/SQL; ability to write clean, simple code and queries. /p /li lipFamiliarity with BI tools (Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau) for standard visualizations. /p /li /ul ul lipStrong understanding of clinical trial data structures and clinical operations processes. /p /li lipExperience developing Key Risk Indicators, Quality Tolerance Limits, analytics outputs, or monitoring reports. /p /li lipWorking knowledge of Risk-Based Quality Management principles and cross-functional collaboration within clinical development environments. /p /li /ul h3Desirable Requirements /h3 ul lipExperience working in a clinical operations environment with Risk-Based Quality Management and knowledge of CluePoints platform /p /li lipUnderstanding of Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium standards, including Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM and Analysis Data Model (ADaM). /p /li /ul h3Benefits Rewards /h3 pAt Novartis, we’re committed to reimagining medicine together - and rewarding the people who make it happen. /p pThe expected Annual Base Salary Range for this role:



€27,900.00 - 51,900.00 /p pThe base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. /p pIn addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters. /p pThe rewards of being part of our team go far beyond base pay and incentives.
