This role is essential for strengthening financial governance, enhancing process efficiency, and supporting the bank’s digital and technological transformation initiatives. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Accounting Financial Reporting /h3ulliLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements. /liliEnsure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger and all accounting sub‑processes (AP, AR, fixed assets, treasury accounting, provisions, reconciliations). /liliSupervise the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports, ensuring timeliness and high-quality standards. /li /ulh3Compliance, Controls Audit /h3ulliEnsure strong internal controls consistent with audit standards and banking regulations. /liliServe as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, coordinating deliverables and implementing recommendations. /liliMaintain up-to-date understanding of regulatory requirements affecting financial and accounting processes. /li /ulh3Systems Integration Transformation Initiatives /h3ulliLead and contribute to bsystem integration projects /b, including data migration, process harmonization, system upgrades, ERP implementations, and connections with core banking platforms. /liliPartner closely with IT and business teams to map accounting flows, validate data integrity, and ensure seamless interaction between financial systems. /liliDrive automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reporting quality. /li /ulh3Leadership Cross‑Functional Collaboration /h3ulliManage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. /liliCollaborate with key stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations, and Technology. /liliSupport strategic decision-making by providing insights, analysis, and financial expertise.
