In this role, you will lead accounting activities within our Barcelona-based team to support multiple entities. You will drive accurate month-end closes, Pu0026amp;L analysis, and forecasting in collaboration with cross-functional partners. The position involves managing AR, prepayments, fixed assets, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations, with audits and external fiduciary support as key touchpoints. You will contribute to reliable financial reporting and process improvements across a multinational education group. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role in a growing, globally connected organization.

• Liaise with the business to ensure completeness in the purchase ledger
• Support forecasting, variance analysis and budgeting
• Provide ad-hoc support to senior team members
• Lead Month End Closure for entities including AR reconciliation and Deferred Revenue
• Perform Pu0026L analysis across OPEX, Services, Residences and Homestay




• Produce monthly financial reports
• Prepare and post Prepayments journals
• Maintain Fixed Asset register and post depreciation journals
• Manage utility contracts with accruals and invoice reviews
• Post general OPEX accruals
• Oversee residence costs with invoice reviews and accruals
• Code and post credit card accruals
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
• Support during internal and external audits
• Assist fiduciaries/external accounting departments

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable/Accounting and Pu0026L analysis
• Valuable auditing experience
• Experience in a large corporate accounting environment
• Previous ownership of month-end processes
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail
