We are a fast‑growing technology company with an insurance license. /p h3Job Purpose/Role /h3 pAs a Data Pricing Specialist at Allianz Direct, you will play a key role in enabling data‑driven pricing excellence. You will design, develop, deploy, and monitor advanced data solutions and models to support pricing strategies, product development, underwriting, and business analytics. Your focus will be on ensuring robust data foundations, building scalable data pipelines, and applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to continuously improve pricing sophistication and decision‑making. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, data science, and pricing analytics, and is pivotal in driving Allianz Direct’s ambition to be the industry benchmark in digital insurance. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Data Engineering Pipelines /h3 ul liBuild, automate,



and maintain data pipelines to support pricing and analytics needs. /li liEnsure high data quality, consistency, and accessibility across multiple internal and external sources. /li liImplement monitoring solutions for data integrity and pipeline performance. /li /ul h3Analytics Modeling /h3 ul liSupport the development of pricing models (risk, demand, elasticity, optimization, LTV, etc.) through data preparation and feature engineering. /li liApply advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to improve model performance and business insights. /li liIndustrialize and deploy models into production environments in collaboration with tech and actuarial teams. /li /ul h3Data Innovation Governance /h3 ul liIdentify and integrate new data sources (internal external) to enhance pricing capabilities. /li liDevelop business monitoring tools, KPIs, and dashboards for pricing, underwriting, and data performance tracking. /li liEnsure compliance with Allianz Group’s methodological standards and governance requirements. /li /ul h3Collaboration Impact /h3 ul liPartner closely with Pricing, Product, Underwriting, and Business Analytics teams to translate data insights into strategic actions. /li liPresent technical results to non‑technical stakeholders, bridging the gap between data science and business impact. /li liDrive innovation in data practices, continuously exploring new methodologies, tools, and technologies.



/li /ul h3Qualifications / Key Skills /h3 ul liDegree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. /li liSolid programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience using version control systems (Git). /li liExperience in data engineering tools (ETL/ELT frameworks, Databricks, Airflow, dbt, Spark, etc.) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). /li liStrong foundation in machine learning and statistical modeling. /li liExperience with data visualization BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). /li liKnowledge of insurance or financial services pricing concepts is a strong plus. /li liFamiliarity with specialized pricing software (Radar, Earnix, Akur8, Quantee) is desirable but not mandatory. /li liProfessional proficiency in English. /li liStrong problem‑solving skills, curiosity, and ability to explain complex data insights to diverse stakeholders. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pWe at Allianz believe in an inclusive workforce and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
