ppDarwin Space are currently hiring for a Power Electronics Engineer on behalf of a business in Madrid. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and optimize switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), including high-voltage architecture, thermal performance and EMC compliance. /li liSimulate and analyse power circuits, parasitic effects and power integrity using advanced tools. /li liDesign multilayer PCBs in Altium Designer, integrating high-voltage clearances, parasitic and planar transformers. /li liPlan and execute in-house testing campaigns, including thermal pre-qualification and EMC pre-compliance. /li liSelect optimal components for performance, efficiency and reliability in space environments. /li liCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration with propulsion systems and mission requirements. /li /ul h3Qualifications Skills /h3 ul liAt least 5 years of experience in developing power electronics.



/li liMaster’s degree in Power Electronics Engineering or another degree with a strong focus on electronics development. /li liProven experience in designing switched-mode power supplies, high-voltage circuits and thermal/EMC design. /li liFull proficiency with Altium Designer. /li liHands‑on experience in Electronics labs (debugging, testing, instrumentation). /li liProficiency in SMD soldering. /li liBasic knowledge of C/C++, Matlab/Python and Arduino. /li liSpoken and written professional proficiency in English. /li liFast learner, hands‑on, autonomous, team player and proactive project contributor. /li liExperience in environmental testing (thermal, vibration, radiation). /li liExperience working in automotive or other high-reliability sectors. /li liExperience performing FMECA analysis. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
