ph3Overview /h3 pVHIR offers a vacant position for a Technician with experience in bioinformatics and biostatistics for the Nephrology and Transplantation Research Group. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform bioinformatic analysis of high-throughput omics datasets, including next-generation sequencing data. /li liDevelop predictive and prognostic statistical models within research projects related to solid organ transplantation. /li liIdentify, analyse and validate candidate biomarkers using multi-omics approaches. /li liContribute to preparation of internal reports, research proposals, scientific manuscripts and grant applications. /li liAssist in the preparation of presentations for research meetings, scientific conferences and dissemination activities. /li liEnsure the reproducibility and documentation of bioinformatic workflows following good research practices. /li /ul h3Education and qualifications /h3 ul liRequired: ul liBachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biology or a related Life Sciences discipline. /li liMaster’s degree in Bioinformatics. /li liFluency in English (professional proficiency). /li /ul /li liDesirable: ul liAdditional training in Immunology, Transplantation or Computational Biology. /li /ul /li /ul h3Experience and knowledge /h3 ul liRequired: ul liUnderstanding of experimental design and statistical concepts for omics data analysis. /li liExperience analysing high-throughput sequencing data. /li liProficiency in R for statistical analysis and data visualisation. /li liExperience integrating multi-omic datasets. /li liAbility to interpret computational results within their biological and clinical context. /li liExperience reproducing and implementing computational methods described in scientific publications. /li /ul /li liDesirable:
