Therefore, we are seeking a bdynamic and strategic SAP Governance and Basis Manager. /b /p h3Role Overview /h3 pThe SAP Governance and Basis Manager is responsible for defining, governing, and enforcing SAP technical governance across the application lifecycle, ensuring robust control over system delivery, technical changes, releases, and testing activities. The role ensures SAP environments are delivered and operated in a controlled, audit-compliant, and high-quality manner, bridging project delivery and steady-state operations while leading a team of specialists across Application Lifecycle Management and Governance, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), and Basis. /p h3Scope Organisation /h3 pGlobal scope across new SAP landscape (excluding legacy ECC systems and Regional SAP systems in America) /p pCovers SAP Governance, ALM, Technical Change, Release Management, Test Management and Automation, SAP Basis, and GRC. /p h3Manages a team of specialists, currently: /h3 ulliThree Basis resources /liliOne GRC security lead /liliOne additional resource to support on ALM activities /li /ul h3Technical Change Management /h3 ulliDefine and implement end-to-end technical change governance model. /liliEstablish controls for transport management and ensure segregation of duties. /liliManage change lifecycle including approvals, testing, release, and deployment. /liliMaintain and prioritize change backlog and ensure documentation. /liliDefine escalation paths for risks and conflicts. /liliEnsure no uncontrolled changes are deployed to production. /li /ul h3Release Management /h3 ulliDefine release strategy and cycles. /liliOwn release planning and calendar. /liliEnsure readiness criteria (testing,



approvals, risk) before releases. /liliOversee deployments and cutover activities. /liliEnsure traceability and documentation of releases. /li /ul h3Test Management /h3 ulliAlign testing cycles with release planning. /liliOversee test management and automation tools and manage defect resolution. /liliEnsure traceability across requirements, changes, and tests. /liliDefine quality gates and ensure audit readiness. /li /ul h3System Delivery ALM Governance /h3 ulliOversee end-to-end lifecycle from demand to operation. /liliManage ALM processes including requirements, changes, testing, and documentation. /liliEnsure standardisation of delivery processes globally. /liliGovern ALM tools (Cloud ALM, Signavio and in the future Test Automation tool). /li /ul h3SAP Basis Operations /h3 ulliOversee SAP system administration and performance. /liliGovern transport, refresh cycles, upgrades, and patching. /liliEnsure system stability and performance monitoring. /liliCoordinate with operations and SAP RISE AMS teams. /li /ul h3SAP GRC Security /h3 ulliGovern user access and role management. /liliEnsure compliance with audit and internal controls. /li /ul h3Leadership Stakeholder Management /h3 ulliLead and develop a team of SAP specialists. /liliManage stakeholders across IT, business, and audit. /liliCommunicate changes, risks, and releases effectively. /liliDefine KPIs for change success, release stability, and defects. /liliMonitor and report performance. /liliDrive standardisation and governance maturity. /li /ul h3Qualifications: /h3 ulli7+ years experience in SAP Governance, Basis, GRC, or ALM. /liliExperience in S/4HANA programmes preferred. /liliStrong knowledge of Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, Basis, and GRC. /liliDegree in IT or related field. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ulliLeadership and team management. /liliStrong analytical and governance mindset. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
