It marks the beginning of our next chapter. /ppAs we move into commercialization across Europe and continue advancing our platform into new surgical specialties, we are looking for an exceptional RD Director to join our Executive Leadership Team. /ppTHE OPPORTUNITY /ppThis is not a traditional RD leadership role. /ppThis is an opportunity to help shape the future of Rob Surgical during one of the most important moments in our history. /ppAs RD Director, you will define our RD strategy, lead our multidisciplinary engineering organization and ensure that engineering execution remains aligned with the company's strategic objectives. /ppYou will lead the transition from late-stage product development to commercial readiness while continuing to drive the evolution of our current platform and future technologies. /ppWorking closely with Operations, QA/RA, Medical Affairs and Commercial teams, you will help ensure successful commercialization while strengthening the engineering capabilities required to support our long-term growth. /ppBeyond technology, you will play a key role in developing our engineering organization, empowering future leaders and building a culture of collaboration, accountability and execution excellence.

You know what happens when the first systems reach hospitals, when customer feedback begins to shape product evolution, and when engineering must support manufacturing, clinical teams and commercial operations without losing the pace of innovation. /ppYou have built and scaled multidisciplinary engineering organizations developing complex medical technologies, creating environments where robotics, software, electronics, systems engineering and mechanics work seamlessly together to deliver products that improve patient care. /ppMore importantly, you've transformed organizations. /ppYou know how to evolve an RD team from a product-focused development organization into an engineering function capable of supporting an international commercial business—balancing innovation, execution, product lifecycle management and continuous improvement. /ppYou're equally comfortable discussing technology strategy with engineers, product roadmap with executive leadership and market needs with commercial and clinical teams. /ppYou believe that engineering excellence alone is not enough. /ppYou build organizations where accountability, ownership, speed of execution and collaboration become competitive advantages. /ppIdeally, you've developed your career within surgical robotics or similarly complex capital medical equipment, where multidisciplinary engineering, regulatory excellence, clinical validation and commercialization must coexist seamlessly. /ppHowever, we also welcome exceptional leaders from the broader MedTech industry who have successfully led the commercialization of highly regulated, technologically sophisticated medical devices.



/ppWHAT YOU'LL BRING /pulli15+ years of progressive RD leadership experience within the MedTech industry, including executive responsibility for multidisciplinary engineering organizations. /liliProven experience leading engineering teams through the transition from product development to commercialization. /liliHands-on experience supporting CE Mark and/or FDA-approved medical devices through industrialization, commercial launch and post-market product evolution. /liliDemonstrated success scaling engineering organizations during periods of rapid company growth. /liliStrong technical background across complex electromechanical systems integrating software, robotics, electronics and mechanical engineering. /liliDeep understanding of engineering's role across the full product lifecycle, including design, manufacturing transfer, field support, product improvements and next-generation platform development. /liliOutstanding leadership skills with a proven ability to attract, develop and retain high-performing engineering talent. /liliYou hold a Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline). An MBA and/or PhD would be considered an advantage. /liliFluent English.
