ppbCredit controller /b – Finance Operations team, Continental Europe, located in Barcelona or Madrid. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPro-active credit control /li liEnsure overdue/late accounts are followed up and escalated to management. /li liFollow up on action points/escalations from review meetings and update Line manager. /li liAnalyse and review trends and provide recommendations to reduce the overdue debt in consultation with Line manager. /li liAllocate cash to receivables. /li liHandle and follow up on any queries from the collections operation including cash allocation. /li liAllocate IPT/Taxes and follow up queries with Tax Department. /li liFile documentation and activity as required. /li liTimely investigation and resolution of challenging accounts/cedants is expected. /li liCollaborate with Finance department, underwriting department, claims department, brokers and clients to resolve any queries or technical issues. /li liAd hoc duties as directed by Line Manager. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul li5+ years experience in a similar role within the Insurance/reinsurance market in Continental Europe is essential. /li liExperience of credit control in the Insurance sector, especially in context of co‑insurance.
