ppScopely is seeking a bSenior QA Manager /b to join our Barcelona studio, as part of Central Studio Operations' QA Deployment team, to own and develop an impactful, multifaceted QA and Deployment Program across Scopely's diverse portfolio of selected titles. /p pIn this role, you will define and implement standardized QA frameworks, oversee cross-functional quality initiatives, and ensure testing practices and QA skills align with Scopely's business objectives. You will champion continuous improvement in quality assurance, collaborate with external trusted QA partners, and provide guidance and mentorship to internal and external QA team members. /p pWorking closely with QA peers and Game team leadership, you'll ensure operations align with Scopely's integral mission, values, and long-term strategic goals while driving ongoing service improvements. /p pThe ideal candidate is a highly data-driven leader always playing in offense, with a proven track record of managing complex projects, driving impact through influence, and maintaining a strong focus on progress, quality, and efficiency. /p h3What you will do /h3 ul liLead and execute strategic QA initiatives, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality objectives are consistently achieved. /li liEnsure the consistent implementation of testing KPIs and reporting standards across all projects, and drive improvements around the quality metrics tracked /li liActively contribute to iterating on the design of the QA OS /li liCollaborate with internal and external partners to build action plans aimed at improving the execution of the entire QA pipeline. /li liBe the main Central QA POC and help drive the release quality of some of Scopely's wide array of titles. /li liChampion transformation and collaboration across multiple teams, cultures, and global locations. /li liBuild action plans in collaboration with internal and external partners, to level up the execution of end to end QA pipelines /li liDrive the plans, and continuously assess risks and define necessary mitigation plans leading to expected outcomes. /li liEnsure the consistent implementation of testing strategies, KPIs,



and reporting standards across all projects. /li liAdvance the adoption of automation, AI-driven testing, and lead QA process and workflow transition through AI adoption, and support QA peers through their new AI responsibilities. /li liActively contribute to iterating on the design of the QA Operating System and processes /li liWork with trusted External QA Partners to improve the quality and variety of the services performed, and iterate to grow impactful and relevant external QA teams that work with the game teams. /li liDrive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, lessons learned, and the application of industry best practices. /li liFoster a culture of ownership, accountability, and shared responsibility for quality at every level. /li liBuild and scale QA communities of practice, promoting shared learning and professional growth. /li liChampion quality as a core organizational value, partnering closely with engineering, product, and operations teams. /li liContinuouslyenhance operational efficiency and effectiveness by evaluating current QA practices and implementing new strategies. /li liAct as anadvocate and spokesperson for QA Deployment, clearly communicating risks, issues, successes, and improvements to stakeholders. /li liContribute to performance evaluations by providing objective, constructive feedback that supports both individual and process development. /li liEstablish and refine communication and knowledge-sharing processes between internal and external teams. /li liHelp manage external QA budgets to ensure teams operate efficiently, effectively, and with measurable impact. /li liEnsureeffective reporting and coordination across distributed teams,



maintaining clarity and alignment across all QA-related functions. /li /ul h3What you will need /h3 ul liDegree level education or equivalent experience. /li liPassion for mobile and console/PC games, with proven experience working on games as a live service. /li liExperience with DevOps QA and/or LiveOps QA /li liAbility to generate impact and make progress through influence /li liExperience managing a portfolio of projects or in a central capacity /li liProven ability to oversee and manage projects with complex setups /li liStrong accountability in observing deadlines and engagements /li liMinimum 5 years of QA experience in a game development environment with proven experience in management. /li liVery strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbally) and ability to collaborate with senior management /li liAbility to identify risks and changes needed and to execute solutions, with appropriate sense of urgency. /li liStrong and demonstrated knowledge of project management, software development methodologies, QA best known practices /li liProficient with setting up and navigating through JIRA, TestRail, Google Docs, Google Sheets/Excel, and a build distribution management system /li /ul h3Notice to Candidates /h3 pScopely will never request payment or financial information during the application or hiring process.
