ppThe Instructional Designer is a member of the Education Services team and is responsible for designing and developing e-learning training and instructor‑led materials for Imprivata customers. This position drives strategy and the creation of the Imprivata online training content and design scope as set by the Customer Education department. The Instructional Designer will apply instructional design principles and various established learning models to the development of training materials across all solutions. They will work with global teams to assist with various languages and translations of content. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liUse of current e-learning development tools Articulate Storyline and ancillary creation tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects). /li liSolid understanding of software and blended learning courseware development life cycles. /li liStrong knowledge of instructional design and development methodologies. /li liAbility to function in a fast‑paced environment, under substantial time pressure. /li liHas strong educational acumen and is well‑versed on instructional best practices for the modern learner. /li liKeeps up to date on learning industry trends, insights, new technologies and data. /li liEnthusiastic collaborator and can manage a general set of stakeholders across multiple disciplines. /li liDemonstrates proven ability to solve complex problems and enhance processes in measurable ways, with ongoing cross‑functional communication and clear, concise updates to stakeholders. /li liKnowledge of user interaction design, graphic design, typography, color theory, is a plus.



/li liIndustry knowledge in healthcare and/or software security is a plus. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, education or related field. /li liMinimum of 1‑3 years’ experience designing and developing e‑learning software content. /li /ul h3Job responsibilities /h3 h3Needs Assessment /h3 ul liInteract with subject matter experts from Product Management and Engineering, content developers, and business stakeholders on content design and development to gather learning requirements and course goals. /li liEvaluate Engineering product requirements and assess scope of product features and changes. /li liCreate strategic goals for streamlining processes and development cycles. /li /ul h3Content Development /h3 ul liIncorporate proven adult learning principles in all learning plans and asset development. /li liFollow the defined development process and write courseware that is industry specific. /li liDevelop standardized course materials using pre‑defined corporate templates, tools and approved methodologies. /li liDevelop role‑based scenario content that supports customer success. /li liParticipate in LMS administration and content publishing based on customer subscriptions.
