The successful candidate will lead a global team of scientists and medical advisors, support the other Medical Affairs programs and regional Medical Affairs teams based in the US, Latin America, China and Asia Pacific. This is an onsite role at QIAGEN Barcelona. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage the daily activities, budget,
planning and resources of the team /li liAct as a core member of the Project Development Committees /li liLead medical risk analyses and work closely with Post Market Surveillance team /li liLead Medical Training and Medical Education programs /li liAct as lead for the Investigator Initiated QIAStat Study program /li liLead the interdisciplinary support activities for the Commercial, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Research and Development teams /li /ul h3Position Requirements /h3 ul liStrong laboratory/medical background in infectious disease diagnostics. /li liMinimum 5 years’ experience in Medical Affairs, preferably for an IVD company. /li liMinimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role. /li liExperience in the design and development of infectious disease products. /li liExemplary interpersonal skills at all levels of seniority with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
