As a Senior Data Engineer at EY GDS Spain, you design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that power batch and streaming analytics. You will work within a cross‑functional, international team to support digital transformation and data-driven solutions for stakeholders. You’ll apply engineering best practices to deliver reliable, production‑ready data platforms using modern technologies. This role combines hands‑on data processing with collaboration across global projects and a hybrid work setup.

Responsabilidades
• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Engineering or related field
• Strong Python for data processing and automation
• Advanced SQL proficiency for data extraction and performance optimization
• Practical experience with PySpark for distributed data processing
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and/or streaming data
• Understanding of data modeling and data warehouse/lake architectures
• Experience with distributed systems xqbhyrx and large-scale data environments (e.g., Spark)
• Familiarity with Parquet, ORC, JSON and Avro data formats
• Strong communication skills in cross-functional and international teams
• Fluency in German (mandatory)
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
