Bring your quantitative skills to turn complex data into clear actions that improve portfolio performance and reduce costs. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliBuild and continuously refine procurement forecasts by portfolio and client. /liliDesign and validate statistical/ML models (time series, regression, boosting, AI‑based forecasting). /liliAnalyse deviations and define corrective actions to reduce imbalance costs. /liliPrepare market analyses and reports on prices, volatility, risks, and scenarios. /liliPropose and support market coverage strategies in close partnership with Trading and Sales. /liliIntegrate data from multiple sources (e.g., Helio and external nominations) and mentor analysts. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering or similar; 3–5 years in forecasting, market analysis or procurement roles (must‑have). /liliStrong experience with Python, SQL, Power BI; version control (Git); advanced Excel (must‑have). /liliKnowledge of Iberian energy markets and processes (OMIE, REN/REE, nomination rules) (must‑have). /liliAnalytical rigor, business acumen, and clear data‑driven storytelling; able to communicate uncertainty and trade‑offs (must‑have). /liliIdeally, experience with MongoDB and AWS (e.g., S3, Lambdas). /liliCurious, detail‑oriented, and adaptable; collaborative across Trading, Sales, and Operations. /li /ulpIf you don’t meet every single point,
